We have an impactful volunteer opportunity in partnership with the League of Women Voters – St. Petersburg Area on Saturday, December 9th, 2023 from 12:30-2:00pm at the James Weldon Johnson Community Library in St. Pete. It’s a called a “Post Card Party”.
The goal of the event is to inform returning citizens that there’s free legal help available to research their cases to determine if they’re eligible to register to vote.
At the postcard parties, volunteers  handwrite the names, addresses, and a very short, nonpartisan note of encouragement; there are 3 approved messages LWVSPA provide to the postcard writers.
It will be a wonderful opportunity to bring the YPs together and make a positive impact. However, to make this event successful, we need dedicated volunteers like you.
